Diadem 8.0 and SCXI compatibiity

We are using Diadem 8.0 & SCXI 1000, 1600 USB chasis.
 
I have created Global virtual channels in MAX. But in Diadem 8.0 I can see the MAX hardware. But in the "available signals" list there are no channels. It is completely empty.
 
But this is not happening with Diadem 10.0. I could see my MAX channels clearly in the available list.
 
Its because I have lot of programs & VB scripts written in Diadem 8.0, I prefer to use it instead of migrating to Diadem 10.0
 
Any clue how to solve this interface issue between Diadem 8.0 & SCXI USB Signal conditioning system?

Hello Ari,

That is somewhat correct. As long as you are using the SCXI 1600 as the communicating module, then it will not be possible to use it with DIAdem 8.0, since the SCXI 1600 is not supported by the Traditional DAQ driver.  It is only supported by the DAQmx driver, which you need DIAdem version 9.0 or higher to work with.

The alternative would be to use a PCI Data Acquisition card to communicate with the SCXI chassis, and have it installed under the Traditional DAQ driver.  In this scenario, you would be able to continue working with DIAdem 8.0 and your SCXI chassis.   

I would highly recommend moving to the newer versions of DIAdem, and not reverting back to Traditional DAQ.  DAQmx is much easier to work with for programming, and also for working with/simulating devices in MAX.
