9234 not seen by M&A explorer.

Folks;
 
I have an NI 9233 that I have connected to my laptop with a USB-9162 carrier.  M&A explorer sees it just fine.  The NiDAQmx version is: 8.5.0f5
 
When I swap the NI 9233 for my new NI 9234...  nothing.  M&A shows that the 9233 is no longer connected, but it does not show the 9234 as being connected.  My laptop doesn't ask to install any drivers either.  It's just isn't there.
 
Now I looked online to see what version of MiDAQmx I need to use with the 9234, and I seem to have the right version.
 
Any ideas about what I can/should do to get this to work?  Is the best solution just to chuck it back in th box, and get an RMA from NI?

Thank you.  I hope that you're referring to eh USB-9162 carrier. 
 
I'll dig up the NiDAQmx >= 8.6, and see what happens

Sorry for the typo, yes I meant the 9162 carrier.

Hot dog!  NiDAQmx v8.7.1 did the trick, and the 9234 is now visible in M&A explorer.  Thanks for the help.
