Hi,
Has anyone any experience of installing the NI-CAN 2.5.2 driver under XPe (XP Embedded)?
In our most recent application using XPe, the file nicanpkw.sys is not being copied over during the installation process.
Installation was done without the hardware, re-booted, shutdown, hardware installed, rebooted, then, during XPe's autodetect of the hardware it reports "The file 'nicanpkw.sys' on NI-CAN Software CD is needed" (see attached)
If the file is manually copied from another system, when restarted, the driver completes the install okay, NI-MAX self test of the hardware reports 'passed'. However, when running the 'bus monitor' there's no CAN activity (another system on the same CAN bus reports the bus IS active)
Any thoughts or ideas?
