A few days ago, I got a notification on my FB mobile app that FB's Code Generator was going to be discontinued "soon", and that I should disable 2FA and enable it again with a different 2FA method. Immediately I went to FB on my desktop browser to edit my 2FA settings (apparently this can only be done from there), and I was asked to enter a 2FA code (which makes sense I guess). I requested a code via the FB app Code Generator, as I've always done, but this time the none of the codes worked. I thought maybe it was a temporary glitch, but I've tried again many times since then, and still tells me that the codes I'm enter entering are incorrect.
So now I'm in the situation where I CAN use FB (for now), but I can't disable 2FA, because in order to disable it, I need a code from the Code Generator, and the codes it provides don't work. I tried all the "solutions" regarding how to fix 2FA issues provided in FB's Help articles, but none work. They all eventually rely on providing a 2FA code, which never works anymore. In theory there is a list of master codes, but I was never prompted to download when I set 2FA via FB's Code Generator, I didn't even know it existed, and now in order to download it, you guessed correctly, you need to enter a 2FA code first.
So looks like I'm basically screwed, one day FB will request a 2FA code for me to log in (happens usually when I travel, or if I get a new phone) and that won't work, and I will lose access to my account forever. I use it both personally and professionally, so that will be a big issue.
With a Lookup Table, you can relate each input you might receive to its corresponding country code. This way, when the Zap runs, it will search the left side for a match, then output the value on the right, which we'd then map into Ometria:
Importantly, the Lookup Table transform offers a "Fallback Value" so we can output a default in the event the lead doesn't offer a country or if their country doesn't match any in our table.
If you have Facebook Account Admin Access Facebook should allow you to generate the required Event Page code (see link below). Back In Squarespace, add an 'Embed' Block to a page. In the 'Embed' Editor hit the ''on the right-hand side. Copy and Paste the code from FB to the 'Embed' editor. Click set. You may get a message saying something like 'live stream not available in Edit mode', so hit save. And I'd expect the Facebook feed to be on your page. If I'm overlooking something let me know. It's a good idea.
there are two solutions for this that I can think of. One is easier.
1. use one of the components Facebook provides as a code block drop-in. but if you don't like the way it looks/works, there's not much you can do about it.

I am a newbie to extension development. I am trying to create an extension where i can inject code into a webpage. I have been trying to do this using google chrome content scripts. But i have been unable to do this on facebook.com or google.com. It seems to work on yahoo.com. Is there a reason for this? How can i get around this?
Since you would need to inject code to Facebook or Google, you must use Content Scripts. Content Scripts allow you to run JavaScript code in the context of the web page. You can use standard DOM to extract/read stuff from that webpage and make changes to them.
I wondering how to install facebook code in discourse , i tried study from few topic : How to add facebook pixel code for analytics in the discourse instance, installed on our GCP?
and they said just copy the script into the theme Header or CSS . and i tried installed it at CSS header and .
Hello to the forum from a Keepass beginner.
My aim is to use my FIDO2 key as part of the Facebook login ... but this requires two factor auth to be created first.
I have got this far ...
Installed plugin "KeepassOTP"
While logged into FB using conventional means started the 2 factor auth process.
Received a QR OTP and copied the characters into KeepassOTP using KeepassOTP>OTPsetup.
Small dialogue box accepts this pasted set of characters and I see a current 6 digit code number and the 'next' 6 digit code number.
Typing the current code into the FB response boxes is refused (quote = something wrong).
Tried waiting for 'next' code but all attempts get same fail result.
Should I be using 'advanced' and what might those settings be for FB be ... or am I missing something ?
Thanks in advance
Paul
If you have an app on your smartphone like Google Authenticator, andOTP or similar: Please scan the QR code with this app. Does it it show a different 6-digit number than KeePassOTP? If yes: What's the time difference between your smartphone and your pc?
If the number of characters in the OTP secret is not divisible by eight, the string must be padded with equal signs (=) to a length that is divisible by eight because it is Base32-encoded.
I had the same problem on Amazon whose secret string was 52 characters long. After appending four "-characters to it in KeePass, KeePass returned the same codes as Google Authenticator.

As part of a broader update to its user security settings, Meta is retiring its Facebook Code Generator element, which enables users to log in on another device by using a code from, say, their phone to authenticate their secondary session.
I am trying to join certain Affinity Facebook groups, which ask for a code supposedly found in the "rules" on the website "affinity-group.community." When I go there, and click on Rules, they do not show therefore there is no "red letter code" to be found! This is pretty ridiculous, honestly. I've been using Affinity avidly since they first came out. I have attached snapshots of both the Affinity site (that's supposed to have the code), and the FB page popup window. What the heck?!?! Help please, as I would very much like to join these groups as a long time loyal customer should be treated.
Without a backup to restore from the only option is to work with each of the service provider's account recovery methods. The authenticator app is nothing more than a code generator. The two factor is turned on or off at the service provider end.
Error Code 190:
Why did this error happen?
In general, Error code 190 means access token has expired/has been revoked/is otherwise invalid. But there might be specific scenarios that have caused it. Error Subcodes help you narrow down the specific case that has caused the Facebook integration to fail.
How to resolve the issue?
If the email had mentioned error code 190, please look up the table below for individual SubCodes and Error Causes and proceed with the solution steps to troubleshoot the problem:
Facebook pixels are code you can add to your website to measure the impact of your ads and unlock powerful solutions in Facebook advertising. Facebook pixels track website activities and conversions, will automatically deliver ads to people and help you reach new and existing customers.
Facebook pixel is code that you can place on your Engaging Networks page (or any other page, for example your website). It is used to track conversions from Facebook ads and means that Facebook can report on how the ads have performed. The code is provided by Facebook.
But the beauty is that for these standard events, there is no coding necessary! The Page View event is written into the base code of your Pixel and tracks any time someone visits a page on your site that has the Pixel installed.
A strange things happened in last few days in SharePoint online. Earlier if I embed Facebook feed embed code in SharePoint Online it was working fine but now it is not showing until mouse over on that webpart. Please see the attached screenshot. Anyone have any idea if this is problem from MS or I am missing something?
An SDK, or software development kit, is a bundle of code that developers often use to help implement certain features into their own app. The use of an SDK can also have the effect of sending certain data off to third-parties, however.
Facebook uses a security measure called Login Approvals that sends a verification code to your mobile phone each time you use a different computer or device to access your Facebook account. If you want to enable this security feature for your Facebook account, you must configure the Facebook security settings.
Once you place certain JavaScript code snippets on your site (and activate them based on user/visitor behavior), this data is sent back to Facebook. I will not dive deeper into the possibilities (because this blog post focuses more on the implementation). But if you are new to FB Pixel, you can get more information here.
Back in the older days (pre-2019), the only way to install Facebook Pixel via Google Tag Manager was by using the Custom HTML tag template. This meant working directly with JavaScript code, editing it a bit, etc.
You can manually deploy the Custom HTML tag when you have access to the complete Meta pixel code. Inside the tag code, you would need to make modifications if you wanted to capture additional parameters.
Where can you get the full Facebook Pixel code? Go to your chosen Meta Pixel in the Events Manager and select your pixel. Click on Manage Integrations, and a new window will appear on your screen.
A new screen will come up, asking you whether you want to install it manually or via a partner integration. Choose Manually add pixel code to website, and the browser will redirect to a new page.
First, I will show how to set the Advanced Matching up in Google Tag Manager. Imagine that you work with a website where users can log in and use your services. You could ask a developer to push the following data to the Data Layer (and do this before the GTM container code is loaded):
