My name is Sovannarith OUM and I am from the Operation Smile Cambodia. As a NGO or Company based in Ratanakiri, we thought you'd be interested in Operation Smile Cambodia's latest International Mission.
As detailed in the email below, Operation Smile Cambodia will be conducting a free medical mission in Ratanakiri from 1-5 Dec. 2013. In this connection, we would like to seek your help in spreading this news to your project beneficiaries, community and to your other colleagues in the hope that we will reach potential patients who will avail of the free surgery. It is with great pleasure that we announce the Cambodia-Singapore Friendship Mission at Provincial Referral Hospital of Ratanakiri, where we will provide free surgery and clinical care to patients with cleft lip, cleft palate or other facial deformities.
Patient Screening: 1 Dec, 2013
Surgery Week : 2– 5 Dec, 2013
Place: Provincial Referral Hospital of Ratanakiri
The team is
comprised of medical specialists including plastic surgeons,
pediatricians, and dentists. We plan to provide approximately 60 free surgeries
for cleft lips, cleft palates and facial deformities to children
and adults. We also will provide food, lodging and transportation for the
patients who are selected at no charge. Additionally, we will
also offer free screening to any patient that shows up regardless of the
presence of a facial deformity.
Since 2006, Operation Smile Cambodia and Operation Smile Singapore have held 4
missions in Cambodia providing more than 300 children with a new smile.
We are extremely thankful of our supporters and to you as you all have been
instrumental in helping us reach potential patients and ensuring that they have
the means to join us. If there is anything we can do to help support your
efforts to help us in any way, please let us know.
