As I've made clear with all my NaSoAlMo efforts, I'm a better web
developer than a songwriter. So I dedicate a lot more time to that,
all year long. And as my web projects have increased in number I've
had less time to dedicate to NaSoAlMo. I'm thinking that as of this
year, it should probably be stewarded by somebody who can give it the
attention it deserves. Anybody interested? As I see it, the only
requirements for running it are:
* basic knowledge of web stuff: maintaining registration on a web
domain and serving a blog or website for it
* love of the NaSoAlMo challenge
* not using it to promote your own projects over the work of others
Beyond the basics, it's really not much work. Even during the
competition, maintenance boils down to posting links or fixing the
name on somebody's registration. I fellow Twitter user has been
contacting me about helping to run it, but I'm not sure that they've
even done the competition before. I'd far prefer to pass NaSoAlMo on
to an existing enthusiast, because I care about it a lot more than the
broken website lets on.
Drop me a line personally if you're interested in keeping NaSoAlMo
alive and well: to...@nasoalmo.org
Cheers!
Todd
