I think it is great that this project is Album. And seeing the enthusiasm is
just great! I have signed up for NaSoALMo the last two years and then just
sort of blew it off. Not this year. I will make it I am I am.
I was thinking it would be nice to present visually how we put our works
together. That is to say what do the pieces of paper look like that we have
scribbled on as our works move along. I have always wondered how somebody like
Les Paul, the man, kept all of his tracks fixed in his head and on paper back
in those very early days of recording ON TAPE. Or say Sam Phillips at Sun
records. Maybe we could find a way to present JPEGs to one another in a common
area. Ideas welcome.
Wouldn't it be great to have a look at the documents that Sam Phillips kept as
Elvis was recording his first ALBUM? Probably not too complicated as it was a
single take deal for the most part.
I want to do a cover of Robert Johnson's Steady Rollin' Man. Or a Mel Bay
cover.
Best of luck to all!
Randy
