Dead BBQ Grill and Coverville

Congratulations to everyone who finished and to those who didn't but
found the motivation to get some music done that otherwise wouldn't
have gotten done. I'm looking forward to listening to everyone's
albums this year!

I did some different things this year. I used the Cowbell Plus iPhone
application for percussion on a couple of songs, and I used my
keyboard more (rather than my guitar). I did better with the keyboard
than I would have thought, so I guess all those organ lessons I had as
a teenager weren't wasted.

I chose a cover song strategically because Brian Ibbott at the
Coverville podcast is hosting "Coverville Idol" and invited listeners
to record covers of Squeeze songs to be played on an upcoming show. So
I recorded Squeeze's "This Summer." I don't have that one available
for download right now, but it will be available from http://www.coverville.com
when Brian gets everything put together.
