Junior PHP/MySQL developer position (Franklin, TN)

First and foremost we're looking for someone who is open minded. You
will NOT have the chance to sit in a corner the whole day with your
headphones on and peck away at code (well, most of the time you won't
>< ). You WILL be interrupted, asked questions, poked and prodded many
times during the day (we really do mean it - those support guys are
all about poking us developers). Can you be flexible enough to lend a
helping hand wherever it's needed, every time it's needed and maintain
a good attitude while fixing bugs and finishing projects on your daily
schedule? We know it's chaotic, but that's how things get done. Sounds
like something you can handle? Then read on. Otherwise this position
is not for you (and that's OK); there's no point trying to put a
square peg in a round hole :)

Description
Work day-to-day with our team to create new products and expand our
existing product line.

Qualifications

* 4 year degree or 1 year professional work experience (freelance
counts if it's your full time job) with PHP, MySQL, HTML,JavaScript
* In-depth knowledge of W3C guidelines (XHTML & CSS)
* Knowledge of SVN (or other source control solution)
* In-depth knowledge of database design and development
* Solid understanding and working knowledge of the Internet
* Strong work ethic
* Professional demeanor
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Willingness to take a PHP test prior to an interview
* Professional experience working on a team
* Ability to work on site


Desired Skills

* Object-Oriented Programming (highly desired)
* Understanding of the full software development life cycle
* Working knowledge of one or more additional OOP languages,
including Java, C++ or C#
jQuery experience
