Does anyone know how to fix something like this? One eblast has sent thousands of emails. No idea how to fix this.
"Your server had 26k messages in it and you wanted them deleted which I did for you. There was still messages being generated by the server. You gave me the okay to change the cpanel password on my end which I did.
I checked into this further and it appeared spam emails were being generated by this file:
/home/aassault/aa_components/mail_queue.pl
I currently have the permission set to 000 for that file. When the permissions are set to 000 no emails are being sent from the server. When I change the permission to 644 and wait a few emails are generated again and being sent out. I would recommend bringing this information to your web developer and have him check the code inside mail_queue.pl or if that file is even suppose to be generated."

IMHO,
Leave the permissions set to 000 or delete it altogether.
Use something like MailChimp or Constant Contact to send out email blasts, and Mandril or Amazon's Simple Mail Service to send out transactional emails.
