At Nashville PHP, we love our friends and partners in the local business and recruiting communities. We've developed some great relationships, and we'd like to grow these relationships. In an effort to strengthen our relationships with businesses and recruiters and provide richer job postings for all our members, we've decided to adopt the following job posting rules for our group.
Posting Job Opportunities
Nashville PHP welcomes you to post job opportunities to our general discussion list, provided the job is located in the Middle Tennessee region (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_Tennessee). If the job is telecommute, please state that clearly in your subject line. Postings to the list will be moderated.
Rules for Job Postings
The job posting must be for a PHP or PHP-related opportunity.
Include a full description of the job opportunity. Do not just post links to job boards or messages to the effect of “I’ve got jobs. Call me.”
Include a signature block with your full name, position, contact details and company.
Indicate your relationship to the job opportunity (e.g. employer, recruiter).
Indicate where the job is located. We only post job opportunities located in Middle Tennessee.
Post only new opportunities. Do not post opportunities that have already been posted by you, your colleagues, or a competitor.
Do your own work. Do not ask Nashville PHP organizers to recommend members to you, or to pass along opportunities on your behalf.
Do not include documents, forms or file attachments of any kind.
Do not include disclaimers from email footers regarding confidentiality, intended recipients, or similar.
Failure to follow these job posting guidelines will get your message declined by moderators, and may lead to you being banned.
