PHP / Database Developer
Darkstar Design – Nashville, TN
Our development agency is searching for an experienced PHP / Database developer. We are looking for a person with expertise in writing code from the ground up; modifying code; debugging; building on existing software; and leveraging available options (i.e., plugins) when necessary. These roles also require collaboration on projects.
Required skills:
- Expertise in PHP;
- Expertise with at least one open-source database engine (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc);
- Experience with Linux and open-source hosting software;
- Experience with source code management systems (like git);
- Knowledge of HTML / CSS;
- Critical thinking, self-management, organization and attention to detail;
- 5 years plus in similar position.
Compensation and benefits:
- Salary DOE;
- 2 weeks annual paid time off, plus holidays and sick leave

This is an in-house full-time position in Nashville, Tennessee. You must live in the Nashville area or be willing to relocate. No freelancers, staffing agencies, etc should reply.
