Good Afternoon! Our company has 3 positions contract to hire for PHP Developers in Nashville TN. I have pastedthe Sr level job description below for your review.
A local client is seeking a Senior PHP
Software Developer for a 6 month contract-to-hire position. This individual will
work as a part of a team to design, code, test, and analyze PHP software
programs, MySQL databases and applications. Specifically, this individual will
work as a part of a team that will be converting all of the client’s existing
web applications to the Amazon Cloud.
Responsibilities:
• Work with the Applications Development Manager or Senior Software Developer
conceptualizing and developing new software programs, databases and applications
• Assist in the preparation and documentation of software requirements and
specifications
• Write, translate and code software programs, stored procedures and applications
• Run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs
• Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, database administrators and
software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products, systems or
databases
Required skills:
• Solid technical knowledge of PHP and MySQL
• Strong experience with Stored Procedures
• Experience with Apache and Linux configuration and command line usage
• Experience with SDLC
Preferred skills:
• Knowledge of Amazon AWS, especially S3, RDS, and AWS API tools
• Experience with Open Source IDE’s
• Experience with Git version control
Education requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in the field of computer science or related degree, or 5+ years
equivalent work experience
