Seeking (2) mid-level PHP developers
Dart Music is a newly founded digital music distribution company that is focused on "direct to iTunes" aggregation. Our primary objective, currently, is to solve the distribution hurdles for the classical music genre. We have a working beta and are looking to bring on 2 full time devs to increase our development productivity. This is a full time employment opportunity, not freelance or contract.
This position reports to the CTO.
Job Requirements:
· Collaborative personality that thrives in creative as well as independent environments.
· Able to accomplish complex structures without relying on frameworks.
· Excellent documentation of your work and understanding of version control systems. (Git)
· Strong background in use case building and validation.
. High School diploma (preferred) with 3+ years of PHP experience
Skills required:
· PHP
· Javascript, Jquery, & Ajax
· MySql proficiency
· HTML & CSS
· Git
Additional Skills Desired:
· Experience with Git, BitBucket
· Background (or at least a passion for) the new music industry
· Ability to work on projects in a mixture of "waterfall" and "agile" objectives
· Able to work with a group and also independently
