Facebook integration & layout tweaking

Hello all,

I'm needing help with a client's site and Facebook's integration. I can't seem to grasp what needs to be done in order to control what artwork and where it shows on Facebook's "... shared a link" post that gets automatically posted on a Facebook page from the WordPress posting getting published. I apologize for utilizing "Post" incessantly, but I feel like that's how convoluted Facebook's wiki's and docs read. I'm so "Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" (confused). I've successfully configured the Facebook WP plugin on one site, but can't seem to get the same functionality duplicated on another client site. I'm hoping someone out there could help me make some sense of what I need to accomplish the goals mentioned above, as well as implementing a functioning "Facebook Activity" widget. I'm not exactly sure what other information I've left out, but if anything more is needed, please contact me. Any guidance is appreciated!
