I am currently seeking up to 2 full time PHP developers to grow our development team at HouseLens. (http://www.houselens.com)

HouseLens is the leading real estate video marketing company of its kind, specializing in professional video tours, interactive 3D property models, and professional photography for real estate listings. Founded in 2008 with our headquarters here in Nashville, we have grown from a handful of markets to serving the top 37 real estate markets in the nation.

My team is responsible for developing and maintaining the internal applications to support the sales and scheduling process, the editing and content upload pipelines, as well as the customer-facing management portals and web-based portions of our product.

I'm looking for developers who are interested in helping us stay cutting edge as we scale our systems to support the continued growth of our company. I want developers that aren't afraid to try some new things and and help us choose the technologies and libraries to help better craft our solutions.

Job Functions

• Design, build, and maintain web applications, content creation tools, and product delivery pipelines
• Work with development team members to properly scope and plan system features and changes
• Collaborate with the team to solve technical problems
• Properly test code and assist in the code review process
• Maintain an understanding of current web technologies and programming practices
• Occasionally, assist with application support issues

Required Experience

• 3+ years of PHP development experience
• Experience with MySQL and relational database architecture
• Ability to construct complex SQL queries
• Open source MVC framework experience
• Providing and consuming REST services
• Strong front-end skills using HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery
• Experience with responsive front-end frameworks like Bootstrap / Foundation
• Familiarity with front-end libraries like Angular, Backbone.js, Meteor, Vue.js or similar

Preferred Skills / Experience

• College degree in computer science, information systems, web design, or related field
• Online portfolio of work (Git, Bitbucket, etc)
• Experience with Laravel / Symfony frameworks
• Amazon AWS experience, specifically S3, EC2, Cloudfront
• Solid TDD experience
• Agile / Kanban / Scrum experience
