September 16 is a big day for everyone interested in eating.
Genetically engineered salmon is on the brink of being approved by the FDA. The GE salmon would be the first ge animal approved for human consumption and you don't need an imagination to know what might follow...(ICK!!!)
Please call the White House Sept. 16 and state that we, here in Tennessee, don't want GE salmon on our plates. Food and water watch has organized this national call in campaign and I would love to see Tennessee well represented in the statistics.

This would be the first “transgenic” animal approved for human consumption, and the FDA hasn’t done enough to investigate the potential risks to human health and the environment. 2. Tell them your name and where you’re from, and then simply ask that President

“Hi. My name is ______ and I live in (city, state). As a constituent, I urge President Obama to direct the FDA to reject the approval of genetically engineered salmon. Thank you for your time today.”
