Mr. WTN Sucks

Why can't Mr. WTN get it through his head that nobody really gives a rats
ass about the topics he chooses except maybe him and he's not the one that
pays the bills. He is still running filler spots through most of his show
and you can always get a line to the show which was hard to do when Terry
Taylor was there doing more political or local issue type topics. It is
funny to me that when those were the topics they did better in the ratings
than they have with the last 2 offering they have given us. They were so
uncertain that this Bozo would not make it that they don't even use his
real name so that they can wheel a new one in when they fire him. Maybe
it is not the host but the Program Director. Well which ever one of you
it is Pull Your Heads Out of Your Ass and give us decent night time talk
radio. It works! Rush gets $10,000.00 for a 60 sec. spot and you guys
can't give one away. Wake up and give us what we want or we will find it
elsewhere.

I totally agree. He also comes across as quite arrogant and will agree
with you on air but stab you in the back as soon as you hang up. And
speaking of hangups, what was his problem with the septuplets? Hour
after hour of whiney,
assinine jokes and clatrap. The kids are all premature and in incubators
but does he care? HELL NO! They're an easy target for his piss poor
attempts at "humor"and "entertainment".
They sandbagged Terry Taylor cause he said the word "nigger" on the air.
It's o.k. when used by "OTHER PEOPLE" in the course of a conversaion but
not by the P.C. W.T.N. They better find someone that can do the job
right or i'm going back to WPLN. I already spend more time there anyway.

I disagree with you. I think Mr. WTN is what this city needs. He is diversified
in his topics, and is fun to listen to.
John Zigler was the one who got fired for n*gger, and I thought he was more
interested in tearing down what has made Nashville a great family place to
live.
I understand that Terry took a management job in Kentucky, and quit WTN.
Summing up, I think (as well as my wife) WTN has become a GREAT radio station
by promoting good talk, rather than hate talk. Sorry to disappoint you.

Thought I would chime in since you guys are speculating where I am. After a
year or so running a group of Radio Stations in Owensboro, Kentucky, I had an
automobile accident which landed me in on my back for several months.
However, I am recovering nicely and have returned to my home town of Muscle
Shoals, Alabama where my friend and music industry mentor, Jimmy Johnson
(Muscle Shoals Sound, Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section) and I have formed a new
company.
We are in the process of building a new recording studio in Muscle Shoals and
have formed a company; "Muscle Shoals Rhythms" which will specialize in
creating Custom Music Images (Jingles) for retail advertisers. We currently
have sales people there in Nashville as well as an new office and several sales
people in Birmingham.
All in all, life is good. Not that you have lost any sleep over it, but I
just thought I would end any speculation...
It was indeed flattering that anyone would even remember the show.

Glad to see you are doing well. WTN misses the strength of
personalities such as yours. WTN has also missed the fact that part of
the present drawing power is listening to some of the present on air
talent self destruct. i.e. one gentleman hired for night shift made fun
constantly of Fan Fair. A Gaylord "Opry -home of country music"
southern accent must sound hilarious when stating "your fired".
