In the late 70's and early 80's, she was a co-anchor on WTVF AND had
not one but two radio talk shows on different stations ( at one point
running at the same time until one of them told canned her)! Then she
had a column in the 'Nashville Banner' in the early to mid 90's until
about a year before the paper itself folded and now. .. she may as well
have vanished into thin air!
Is she still in town? Any plans for her on TV, radio or the
newspaper in the works? Does anyone know?

I work at a air express company and occasionally see her name pop up on
my screen. So, I suppose she is still here. Although I rarely agreed
with her, at the time perceived extremely angry rants, I miss her.

We'll see.

To CO-
Same here! I wonder if he comes across more intelligent at that
station than he did on WNGE? I always had the feeling that he was a bit
dense! If I remember correctly, he was the Weather Wizard on Channel 2
twice and the second time, he came back with much fanfare and promotion-
only to be VERY abruptly taken off the air there and I don't recall any
explanation for this by the station!
And, speaking of weathermen, anyone here recall Bob Lobertini who
was abruptly fired by Channel Five for allegedly being drunk while doing
a live weather forecast? I think that was about 25 years ago!
More recently, there was a weekend weatherman on Channel Five who
simply gave an on-air resignation - dissing the management and
apologizing to the viewers! If I recall correctly, the rest of the
newscast, the anchors didn't make ANY comment and pretended that this
had NOT happened. I can't think of his name, though!
Any comments?

I remember him disapearing all of a sudden after his return and wondered
where he went.

I remember Lobertini and vaguely remember the weather forecast. I
believe he died a while back. (?)

Cool, I would have liked to seen that!
Whatever happened to Fox 17's weather dude Cody Stark?

Good lord, "Bob Lobertini". I haven't thought about him in years and years,
but as soon as I saw his name, I sure remembered him. I'm sure it's been at
LEAST 25 years since he was on the air in Nashville.

Speaking of Nashville TV people of the past, is Ken Bramming still around?

Ken Bramming passed away in the last year or two. I fondly remember

Sorry to hear Ken Bramming is gone. I remember him from "Creature Feature"
and a lot of other things. I left Nashville nearly 30 years ago and just
moved back the end of last year. Even while I was gone I visited fairly
frequently and it seems like I remember hearing him on WAMB a few years ago
when I was surfing the radio dial. Did he work there in the last 10 years
or so?

I believe so, almost until he died.
