But how exactly are the attacks responsible for the extra high
unemployment in NYC? If anything, they created 3000+ job openings, not
to mention all the clean-up work, security, etc.

You have a 4% city income tax? That's outrageous. What does the state
charge you on top of that? Maybe if your taxes were lower,
unemployment wouldn't be so high.

I recently moved to Georgia, and my jaw hit the desk when I discovered
that there's a 7% state income tax here, which is obscene. I won't
feel guilty when I dodge the taxes on my next car purchase.

Bullshit....I have NEVER seen someone outside of IATSE unloading a truck at
Opryland.

Maybe you unload manure at your house...

O.K. ...I'll bite....99% of the Stagehands work is for Freeman Decorating,
CE South, and a few others. Where do you fit into the last 1%?

As far as unloading trucks...I have no problem with it....have done it off
and on for many years...I love being overpaid (thank you Local 47) and
listening to lazy co-workers bitch as they work at a sloth's pace.

Gotta love them unions...get paid well for doing a mediocre job.

I still think you're a jerk, dertball..

Wrong again, dipwad....I like a political party who believes in less
government, lower taxes, capitalism, and personal freedom.

And....I'm not close to using up my Unified Credit..probably never
will...but I think people should be able to keep/pass along a good portion
of the wealth they earned in their lives. The Estate Tax doesn't amount to
squat in the overall budget, and it is a typical ploy by Democratic leaders
to get dumb-asses like you up in arms.

BTW, your internet postings reflect your level of education...

Your opinion, like your remarks, are meaningless.

This is your "intellectual(?)" argument?!
Aren't you embarrassed?!
It's laughable that you would express an opinion,
*so completely uninformed*!
Since you *obviously* know NOTHING about it,
one would think you would SHUT UP AND LISTEN. duh

1 -- *Your* "argument" could be used to abolish taxes on anyone.
2 -- Previous EstTax law prevented transactions which would have resulted in
tax liabilities. Abolished, no tax liability would result, making transactions
'costless.'

Well Nellie, I said it 12 times in various ways.
(Brown may know that it was more than that!)

The single issue that got bush elected was 'tax cuts'

THAT WENT 95% TO THE 1% WEALTHIEST
*but more extraordinary is that 60% went* to
THE .0001 WEALTHIEST!

That within the 1% highest earners is a group
that earns $30MILLION per year which, under bush,
would pay the same rate as $128,000/yr. earners.

Gross, no?

The Estate Tax repeal ("Death Tax" to you idiots)
is even more abominable!

"It's very complicated; I could easily explain it, but
*there's NO WAY*
you could *EVER*
*POSSIBLY*
understand."

Neddie, I am appalled at the ignorance of the public,
not just you.
My reason for writing is to spur you to thought.
*More than thought*
I want to spur you to contemplation!
*More than just YOU, but *ALL* !

For what results from our collective ignorance
is a *further* entrenchment of wealth
that *makes impossible* for future generations
"THE AMERICAN DREAM."

Sadly, complacency has allowed it.
