Hate to miss another month's meeting (21st), but Xam U starts this week (in fact I'm listenting to the keynote/kickoff class right now). All my free night/weekend bandwidth for this next 4 weeks will be binging on all the classes available.
Hopefully their Github page of resources is public and not just limited to the current group of students. If the info is not visible, let me know, and I'll post the meat of the info on classes/certs/etc here for those who are interested.
For this first 4 week session, it appears that most classes are divided into EST and PST blocks. For someone like me who can't use working hours at this time for any of the training, I'm looking at generally 8PM to 11PM classes (in Central time zone) for any Mon-Fri classes I need to take.
The resources only show the first week's classes since they are still scrambling a bit on this inaugural 4 week session. They have info on the classes required for certification (and they show prerequisites for classes), so that kind of helps figure the 4 week path with order of classes. Unfortunately without the other 3 weeks of class schedules listed out, it's hard to figure out how difficult it might be to work the whole thing out on nights/weekends.
Excited to be a part of this, and as the weeks go by, I'll share the highs and lows of being in this very first wave of Xam U.
