So, would someone lucky enough not to be several hundred miles away from their 3D printer please visit the new Smithsonian 3D laser scanning site and post if they can successfully print one of the models please?

Well, I may have spoken too soon.  It seem that their models are in such high resolution that my laptop can't open them for printing :(
