Congratulations!

You have been selected for MAKEwithMOTO's Nashville MAKEaTHON at Vanderbilt this coming weekend. It looks like we have a really good group with a pretty wide variety of skills and experience so we're pretty excited to see what you can do!

We will be meeting at 6pm this Friday on the plaza outside Feathering Gill Hall.

The weekend will go as follows:

Friday, August 2:             6pm – 9pm         intros, brainstorming, designing
Saturday, August 3:        10am – 10pm     principal making session
Sunday, August 4:          10am – 4pm       final touches, live-streamed presentations

All food and equipment will be supplied but you're welcome to bring your own toys and computers. If you're a designer, bring whatever design tools you usually use. If you are interested in CAD, we have a number of SolidWorks licenses that you can use but if you prefer other programs like Inventor or Rhino you should try to bring something you are familiar with!

Also, if you want to follow us or check out what we have been doing you can find us on google+facebooktwitter and instagram. We'll be taking lots of pictures and videos this weekend and that's where they'll go!

We are really looking forward to making with you. I'm sure this weekend will be awesome. We'll send you some more detailed information about what you can expect this weekend later this evening. Email me if you have any questions. You can also call me at 858 245 6018.

Let's hack our hardware!
James

PS please let me know if you think you won't be able to make it!
