IRC Room

Hey guys,

I thought I would let you all know that I made an IRC room for NJUG.

Server: irc.freenode.net

Room Name: #nashjug

Hopefully that will make it easier for us to ask questions and discuss technologies. It's pretty lonely in there right now, so feel free to join me!

If you don't know how to use IRC, there's a decent tutorial here. Basically, you need some kind of client, you point it to irc.freenode.com, port 6667, and join the room #nashjug. Feel free to ask questions on this thread if you have trouble.

I appreciate that, but I currently monitor a skype conversation with one team, some hipchat rooms, and two email accounts, so I'm afraid I don't have time during the day to log into irc. I would encourage anyone else with time to do so.

P.S. Is Scala Koans going to be available for May? I would appreciate going ahead and getting it on the calendar. If there is no answer by the end of today, I will move my July talk to May, but then we STILL need to get June and July filled in.

BE BOLD. If you have a talk, go ahead and put it on the calendar. We can then move stuff around. But first, we need to flesh out this calendar. You don't have to have your talk ready to go in order to put it on the calendar.
