Hi all!

Just wanted to reach out and let you know that we'll have some shifts in organizer positions happening soon. Careers, priorities, and lives shift direction, but with that comes new opportunities for others to bolster their presence and resume.  With that in mind, I'd like to encourage those of you who enjoy the meeting to consider becoming a co-organizer with us and help shape the direction and future of the group. Once we've confirmed a few things, I'll be more than happy to share a bit more. 

In the mean time, reply here or hit me directly (jeremy[dot]ary[at]gmail) if you'd prefer not to do it via group.

I wanted to touch base back on this thought and let you know that while some organizers have indeed gone their own way for the time being, things will largely remain the same in current operations. Tim and Chris continue to do a great job carrying the brunt of the load and I appreciate their efforts in organizing meetups and sourcing speakers. Without their stepping in and up, the group would certainly suffer and there'll come a time where hopefully we can do the same for them.

I'd like to continually urge others who may have an interest in participating by saying that everything you do doesn't have to be public-facing. The group will always have needs for help in locating speakers, helping form and initialize lab-nights content with good code examples, or maybe even drive community discussions. Consider it!
