Upcoming Team Green Cleanups

This year Team Green is really pushing to make a difference along our favorite waterways. On June 1st a small group of Team Greeners picked up trash along Mill Creek near the Hands On Nashville Urban Farm, and we stumbled upon mounds of trash that was not previously discovered. It's evident that effects from the May Flood still linger. Last weekend we cleaned up a 10 mile section of the Harpeth River, and removed over 30 tires (with still more tires left behind!)

July 14th: Buffalo River Canoe Float & Cleanup (Discounted rentals, or bring your own boat for free shuttle, and win prizes along the way!)
August 11th: Mill Creek Cleanup (walking riverbed cleanup, free registration, in partnership with Hands On Nashville's Waterways project)

We will most likely have 2 more canoe floats: One in August (river TBD), and one in September (on the Harpeth River). Dates and details coming at a later time.
