I forgot to invite you all to next Monday's event. Most of you are not on the mentor list yet although we'll be adding you soon. Please join us on Monday if you can to see the cohort 4 JS capstones and help support the newbies.---------- Forwarded message ----------

We'd
like to invite the NSS mentor community to come and see some or all of
the Javascript/node.js capstone project demos from NSS cohort 4. These
are the individual projects that each student creates at the end of the
first half of our Bootcamp program. Cohort 4 completes their
Javascript, HTML, CSS, node.js training with the completion of these
projects and then will move on to learning Ruby and Rails starting April
7.
Project demos will be held next Monday, 31 March, starting at 10:00am. We'll have coffee and maybe a few donuts left by 10am. Feel free to arrive anytime starting at 9am. Demos will run to 2pm or maybe a bit later. You are welcome to join us for an hour or two or the entire day - come see some demos, steal some bandwidth and work, meet some of the students, or whatever.
We will be bringing in lunch. If you'd like to join us for lunch please ping me to let me know so I can get enough grub (and if you are a vegetarian or have some other dietary restrictions let me know that).
If you've got some time on Monday, come join us and support and encourage the cohort 4 students as they wrap-up the first half of the program. And heck, you might see one that you'd like to mentor during the Ruby on Rails portion of the class!
