Just a reminder -  we are having a meetup on Thursday morning between 8am and 10am.   It's a chance for the mentors to come in and get a chance to meet all of our third cohort of students plus it's a chance for the students to start making contacts with more of the mentors.  Many of the mentors who will be there are people that students wouldn't otherwise see until the last 3 months of the program.  It's a huge confidence booster for the students to see how many of you are supporting the program.

The location of the meetup is Railyard Studios, 429 Chestnut Street, Studio C, Nashville, TN 37203.  That is the corner of Houston Street and Chestnut.  There is a gravel parking lot on that corner - park in that lot for our meeting.  We're on the "south" side of Chestnut.  The building is a large old brick mill building that was one of the buildings in a sock factory that used to be one of the largest employers in Nashville.  There is a wooden stairway leading from the gravel lot to a large orange industrial door on the elevated main floor of the building - we want to go up those stairs and through that orange door.  Be careful - there's a step down right inside the door.  Inside the orange door is a very large space that serves as a showroom for Railyard Studios - that's where we will be meeting.

There will be a short program while we're there but most of the time will be devoted to allowing you to get to meet students and check out Railyard Studios.  We'll try to run a few tours of the production side of Railyard so that you can see how they make their very cool furniture.  You can also check out their products at railyardstudios.com

We'll have coffee and donuts/pastries/bagels (I haven't decided which yet).

If you have any questions, please let me know.  I look forward to seeing you on Thursday morning.
