I have some critical views on the changeover that is taking place in this saga of satyam episode.

- Does it not mean to have arm length transaction in all realated matters.  How did the government permit the appointment of Mr.Deepak Parikh as Chairman of the Board when he is closely associated with HDFC/Bank? Has he been sent to coverup the banks negligence?

- What does it mean to reconstitute a board when (Mr.Kiran Karnik & Mr Deepak Parikh whose bank was also in the IPO scam) very many board members have/had some interest in the Satyam?

- How much time does it require to reveal the Bank balances public when all progarmmes are on computer and banks are of repute?

- How could KPMG be appointed as auditors where they are also auditors for the Banks?

- Does this mean this country has not found single Indian firm of chartered accountants who could deliver better than big four/five? 

- Moving away from the subject - have the American government appointed any single Indian firm to look into this financial melt down and very many companies going  bankrupt purely on the greed and fraudulence?

- Time has come we in Indian Chartered accountants should fight for justice and injustice meted out to us?

- As Narendra Modi has become a icon let us join creating that Indian CAs are far more superior to global accountants.

- could there be political angle to this whole episode?

- Let the institute take intiative in the appointments of CAs in the episode of this mangnitude  and keep the flag flying high.

- to facilitate research wing of the institute, the institute should create a centre for collecting all the audit reports our members sign and come out with analysis and rate the report of the individual audit reports and also reaudit where required by independent auditors from such centre though they may be individuals

- This discussion should continue.
