Hi Everyone! I saw a link to this OCaml textbook mentioned on Mastodon recently. Specifically, the person said:
Like most who remain loyal to OCaml today, I learned the language in the late 1990s from publications by Leroy, et al. But "
#OCaml #Programming:
Correct + Efficient + Beautiful" by Clarkson is my new favourite. It is
written for 3-level CS undergrad students. It was compiled from over 20
years of class notes at Cornell. It is unapologetic in its enthusiasm
about FP in general and OCaml in particular. It is written in a typical
CS academic style, but with ample guidance on the practical use of
OCaml. And it is free!
