Hello NashDLers,

Hope you’re having an excellent week!

I'm writing because we (GitHub) are hosting a Patchwork event tonight, Wednesday, October 29th, and I wanted to extend an email invitation to any of you who hadn't heard about it via Twitter, the interwebs, Western Union telegrams, etc.

Patchwork is an event where mentors and newcomers to Git and GitHub get together to complete a tutorial that begins with food and drinks and ends with a Pull Request and a high five.

While you aren't new to GitHub, Patchwork nights are fun and rewarding and it's a great time to ask questions or share thoughts about your experiences with our staff.
