Hi all,

[apologies for cross posting]

Our group (the Office of Research Informatics at Vanderbilt) is looking to hire multiple developers. Here is a posting for one the positions that we need to staff relatively soon:

tl;dr:
  • Our group builds tools that support research at Vanderbilt and beyond. This includes REDCap, an electronic research data capture tool. We shared it beyond Vanderbilt and as of today it has been installed at 508 other institutions, in 48 countries, and used by 70,300 users.
  • Depending on your skill and interest you may be working on our infrastructure and the core platforms that we've built, or you may be involved in custom development and interfacing with biomedical research teams at Vanderbilt and around the world.
  • For example (and this relates to the term position posted above), we are working on a project to extend some of our tools to enable a distributed data management, analysis and visualization framework for a federated network of 7 HIV cohorts containing 650,000 HIV patients around the globe.
  • LAMP, javascript / jQuery

If you are interested, please don't hesitate to directly email me (firas...@vanderbilt.edu) or Lauren Davis (lauren...@vanderbilt.edu).

Cheers,
