I'm the lead python developer for a couple of applications @ BorderJump. I moved to Nashville in May and I'm looking to get more involved with the community.

Glad you're here. If you haven't found us yet, your best bet for catching up with NashDL folks is to join #nashdl on Freenode. Most of us are in there most of the time, and that tends to be where impromptu meet ups and events are announced.
