I’m sorry to report the death of retired Force Master Chief Petty Officer Herbert J. McCauley. Chief McCauley’s wife reported to me that he passed away on March 16, 2018. A copy of his obituary is attached, but I do not have Mrs. McCauley’s permission post it anywhere, so please do not include it in the Obituary section of NASGI.net. Please update Chief McCauley’s information on the website Ship’s Roster. Thanks.
On another matter, I’ve learned that I have some neighbors a couple blocks away from my home on Old Church Way, Reynoldsburg, OH named Danita & Robert Outlaw. Are you related to these folks?
Finally, thank you so much for keeping the NASGI.net website active. I visit there at least once every month to see if there have been any developments. As time passes I know that there is bound to be less and less activity.
