One of NASGI aircraft still flying.

Michael Meister owns a Stearman biplane (based in Indianapolis www.indystearmanflight.com) that was originally delivered from the Boeing factory in Wichita, KS to the US Navy at NAS Gross Ile on 27 September 1943.  Please see the attached history on my particular aircraft.  My Stearman was no doubt part of the 156 Stearmans that were based at NASGI during that time. It is worth noting that when my Stearman was restored in 1976 it was restored in US Army colors.  You can always recreate those magic years of flight at NASGI with a flight in this NASGI Stearman.
