Dear all,
Some of you may be interested to know that a new academic series devoted to classical Christian texts has been launched in Chinese. The first volume — Irenaeus of Lyons, Adversus Haereses, Book I — has just been published, modelled on the French Sources Chrétiennes collection, with critical text, apparatus, notes, and Chinese translation.
The series, Classical Texts and Studies (古典文本與研究叢書), based at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, aims to provide Chinese-language scholars with the tools to work critically on foundational classical texts from Antiquity to the Middle Ages, drawing on sources in Latin, Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, Syriac, Arabic, and Coptic.
Given the scope of the project, this may well open a new field of collaboration for some of your students — or indeed for yourselves. I am attaching the presentation document for further details.
With best wishes
Albocicade
