Dear Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the publication of the first Arabic translation of Theodor Nöldeke’s seminal study on Quranic language and style: "Zur Sprache des Korāns" (originally published in Neue Beiträge zur semitischen Sprachwissenschaft, 1910).

This translation also features G.-H. Bousquet’s appendix regarding the aesthetic sociology of the Quranic style. While this work is a cornerstone of modern Quranic studies, it has long been unavailable to the Arabic-speaking academic community in their own language.
