I am seeking a native English speaker to review some Arabic–English translations included in my doctoral dissertation, which I am currently preparing for publication. The thesis is based on the fourth chapter of the Kitāb al-Majdal, a 10th-century Arabic text in sajʿ (rhymed prose). The series editor has suggested that these translated passages would benefit from a review by a native speaker who can ensure the clarity and accuracy of the English translations.
If anyone in this group might be able to assist, or could recommend a suitable person, I would be very grateful. I would, of course, be happy to provide the relevant texts and context if needed.
The reviewer will be paid for their time and should ideally have proven experience in translating Classical Arabic into English; familiarity with Christian Arabic literature would be a bonus.
Thank you very much for your time and consideration.
Best wishes,
