Gorgias Press, an academic publishing house in NJ, is seeking an editorial assistant to review and edit back-cover blurbs for some 300 Turkish-language academic books in various areas in the humanities and the social sciences. While the texts of the academic books are in Turkish, the blurbs need to be written in fluent, excellent, and academic English. The position is freelance and can be done remotely giving the successful candidate access to the material online. Candidates with a Ph.D. in any area in the humanities and social sciences may apply; Ph.D. students advanced in their degree may also apply.
