Dear Nascas, 

Hope you are all well! I came across this reference to a book of which I can find no other references elsewhere in La Trinité Divine Chez Les Théologiens Arabes by Rachid Haddad: 

"Collaboratuer de Ya'qub Ibn Ishaq al-Kindi (m. 873?) Eustathe (m. avant 850), moine jacobite peu connu, a composé une Epître intitulée Livre de l'Eclaircissement [كتاب البيان], en 4 parties. Il l'a adressée à un philosophe qui lui avait montré, en une lettre, la supériorité du monothéisme des Juifs et des Musulmans sur la Trinité chrétienne. Eustathe lui espose et prouve sa foi en la Trinité." (pg. 40)

It seems based on the footnotes that it is mentioned in Al-Fihrist, and there is a book in German written on it: Der Katalog der christlichen Schriften in arabischer Sprache by Abu L-Barakat, which I cannot find.

I'm not sure this Eustathius (Ustath) is identical to the Ustath who worked for al-Kindi. Most likely, these are two different individuals.
