Dear Michal,

You might look at my dissertation from 2001 (Catholic University). At that time I did a fairly extensive analysis of the Patristic sources that are mentioned in Abu Ra'ita's writings, although there were a few references I was not able to track down. The dissertation is available from the University of Michigan:  Sandra Toenies Keating, Dialog between Muslims and Christians in the early ninth century : the example of Ḥabīb ibn ₋Hidmah Abū Rā'iṭah al-Takrītī's theology of the Trinity

Thanks for your prompt response. Unfortunately geography makes your dissertation inaccessible to me at the time, nevertheless I found your article ‘Ḥabīb ibn Khidma Abū Rāi’ṭa al-Takrītī’s The refutation of the Melkites Concerning the Union [of the Divinity and Humanity in Christ]' which is helpful as well.

Dear Michal,

Where are you located and how soon do you need it? I may have the possibility of getting the relevant sections to you some way. The article I wrote on the "Refutation" is a short summary, but doesn't give all of the information. It would be a shame if you had do redo the work I did, and I would be very interested in hearing about any new ideas, as well as corrections, that you have on what I wrote. I have not had time to return to this aspect of Abu Ra'ita, but I think it is very much worth researching.

I am always happy to be in conversation with anyone working on Abu Ra'ita!
