Deciphering the name of a scribe

Dear All,

I have been attempting to decipher a word appearing in the colophon of an 18th-century manuscript, but so far I have not been able to do so, despite consulting with more experienced researchers. 

I underlined the word in question in red. We assume that it must form part of the name, but we have not been able to figure it out. I would be very grateful for any suggestions.

Could it be بوعز Boaz, if we ignored the dot above the `ayn?

Hi Vevian,

Thank you for this suggestion, although I assumed the first latter was a lām. Was Boaz actually used in the Arabic-speaking world? 

If it makes it any easier, this copyist was a Chaldean.

Hi Adam, 

I can say that the name is not common in Christian Arabic manuscripts, but Chaldean manuscripts are not my specific area of expertise.
