PdfConcat utility

The PdfConcat utility enables you to concatenate (or append) multiple PDF files into one PDF file from the command line. It is guaranteed to work only with files created the Amyuni PDF Converter and Amyuni PDF Creator, but should also work with other PDF files.

Usage: PdfConcat DesintationFile SourceFile1 SourceFile2 SourceFile3 ...

Any number of 'SourceFileN' can be entered on the command line, they will all be concatenated into 'DestinationFile'.

iPhoneMailer Library for OS 2 and 3

iPhoneMailer is a library that can be used to send emails with attachments from your iPhone application. Emailing can be done directly from within the application without exiting to the Mailer application. iPhoneMailer is compatible with iPhone OS 2.2.1 and 3.0.

The iMortgage application that is available on the App Store uses this library to send PDF reports through email. The documentation for using the iPhoneMailer library is included in the iPhoneMailer.h header file.

Emf Printer Driver

The EMF printer driver is a tool that can be used to convert documents to EMF format. EMF images can be inserted into other documents or viewed natively under Windows. When installing the EMF Printer, the user is prompted for a destination directory. The EMF Printer will create one EMF file per printed page and place that file in the selected destination directory. We have several clients that are having issues with the Sage 100 PDF Converter printer after installing Windows updates and running the pl_advanceoptions_ui utility. In Devices and Printers the Sage 100 PDF printer shows in an area called Unspecified. You cannot access the properties of this printer but you are able to print Paperless. In one case we deleted the printer and tried to reinstall but were unable to recreate the printer. The only way to get it back was to uninstall the Windows updates and then reinstall the Sage PDF Converter printer.

Ran into this today after running wksetup on a new workstation. We uninstalled the printer using pl_advancedoptions_ui, reinstalled using that utility, and it was still in the unspecified area. Restarted the workstation and then it appeared in the printers area.

Hi, In the Sage 100 2019 release the Amyuni Driver (Sage PDF Converter) was updated to the 6.0 version of the driver. Amyuni addressed the windows update issues with this release. Versions of Sage 100 prior to 2019 may continue to experience the windows update issue.

I'm one of the clients having this issue mentioned above. I'm on Sage 100cloud Advanced 2019, v6.10.2.0. I've checked the registry you mentioned and it's marked full control for everyone at both the Sage 100 PDF Converter and Configurations levels. I checked a couple different workstations that have had this issue multiple times over the last few weeks and they were both set up the same way, full control for everyone.

The issue is that we receive an error saying "Printer not activated, error code -30". The if you proceed to PL_AdvancedOptions_UI you can reinstall which fixes the issue temporarily (a few days usually).

Alternatively, you can attempt to run a test of the converter, after which you receive the same error previously mentioned, then proceeds with an additional "Error #15: Operating system command failed, Program: SY_PDFConverter_ui.pvc, Line 103". (Full error details below).

I came across below message from Amyuni website. The current driver of Reckon 2014 Premier is Amyuni Document Converter 400, I wonder this driver is compatible to Windows 10. Can someone from Reckon investigate this area? If it is found to be the problem that cause " Printer is not activated error code 20 ", then will there be a driver update from Reckon?

Full points to Andrew above. Running Reckon accounts as an administrator fixes the print issue with Windows 10. It is a security feature of Microsoft outlook and not issue with print - pdf converter as I first suspected. Using Premier 2015 version.

Yes, the changes in Windows 10 will require current editions to make a few tweaks to work on it, but our testing is showing it will work. The 2016 release (due in April) will be fully compatible with Windows 10.

The Alpha Anywhere Application Server for IIS installer will notify you if an error occurs during installation with details on where to find the installAmyuniPrints.log file. If the installer for Alpha Anywhere Application Server for IIS is run in silent mode, the error will be logged to the Windows Event log. If the Alpha Anywhere Application Server for IIS installer is not running in silent mode, the IIS installer will display a message similar to the one below:

If an unsigned printer driver was installed prior to installing the Amyuni Printer driver, the Amyuni installer will fail with an "Error Code: 87 Invalid Parameter" error. As Amyuni explains on their website:

"During installation the Microsoft certified printer driver, the Windows operating system copies and renames the amyuni.inf file and related printer driver files to the %system32%\DriverStore\FileRepository folder. Under some situations, Windows fails to copy the .inf file because of previous installations, mainly if the previous installation was for an unsigned printer driver. When installing a new version of the printer driver, the error 87 Invalid Parameters appears."

Before attempting to reinstall the Amyuni printer, the DriverStore\FileRepository folder needs to be cleaned up. For more information about this error and how to resolve it, follow the instructions detailed on Amyuni's website, Invalid Parameters installing PDF Converter printer driver.

Once you have resolved the issue causing the Amyuni installer to fail, you need to install the Amyuni printer. This is done by running the A5IISInstallServer.exe file found in the installation directory for the IIS Application Server.
