Job Description:

  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage with business leaders, IT, and end-users to understand needs and translate them into ServiceNow requirements.
  • Strategic Alignment: Ensuring ServiceNow solutions align with business objectives and deliver measurable value.
  • Change Management: Leading organizational change initiatives related to ServiceNow adoption and enhancements.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for bridging technical and business teams.


ServiceNow Platform-Specific Skills

  • Module Familiarity: Deep understanding of ServiceNow modules, especially:
    • IT Service Management (ITSM): Incident, problem, change, and request management.
    • IT Asset Management (ITAM): Asset lifecycle, compliance, and cost optimization.
    • IT Operations Management (ITOM): Service mapping, event management, and operational intelligence.
    • Integrated Risk Management (IRM) & Third Party Risk Management (TPRM): Risk assessments, policy management, and compliance automation.
    • Employee Center: Understanding of ServiceNow Employee Center as a unified employee experience portal. Skills include configuring and optimizing the portal for self-service, AI-driven search, targeted campaigns, and integrating IT, HR, and other services to streamline employee workflows and enhance engagement.
  • Workflow Automation: Ability to identify and drive automation opportunities across modules.
  • Integration Knowledge: Understanding how ServiceNow integrates with other enterprise systems (APIs, data flows).

Technical and Analytical Skills

  • Data Analysis: Ability to use ServiceNow analytics and reporting tools to drive continuous improvement.
  • Requirements Gathering: Translating business needs into technical requirements for ServiceNow development teams.
  • Solution Evaluation: Assessing new ServiceNow features and releases for business impact.

Governance and Compliance

  • Risk & Compliance Management: Familiarity with GRC/IRM modules for regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Security Awareness: Understanding of ServiceNow security operations and data privacy best practices.

Project and Service Management

  • Project Coordination: Experience with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies for ServiceNow projects.
  • Service Delivery: Ensuring high-quality, consistent delivery of IT services via ServiceNow.

Desirable Certifications & Experience

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (for relevant modules)
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
