Thunderbird 10 ESR

I've been approached by a national institution fod a Welsh language pack for Thunderbird 10 ESR. Is it possible to set up an ESR instance in Narro and transfer the Thunderbird Aurora translation into that instance?

That probably won't work right away as Thunderbird Aurora is version 14 and the ESR is version 10.

Once that is setup you would have to go ahead and fix some translations until it works properly.

I don't think I am admin on the current Narro so I can't add it for you.
alexxed would have to do that for you.

Do I need an older version of Lightning to go with Thunderbird 10 ESR? They would like to use both as a package.

Thanks for setting up Thunderbird and Firefox ESR, that's great.

Is it possible to import only the approved translation and access key settings from Thunderbird and Firefox Aurora into the ESR instances? At present both are filled with suggestions only which means going through c. 10,000 lines and having to reset all of the access keys. This would also be true when I import form Aurora into Release.

When running an import on a project, you can choose to import translations from another project. The translations from that other project are actually taken from the disk, from the last export of that project.
So whatever you export in Thunderbird Aurora (e.g. only Approved) you will import in Thunderbird ESR.
This is the default option on exports, so it should work without changing any options.
