Think of a Google Group kind of like your email inbox. When new stuff comes in, it's marked as unread and it appears at the top. It might have attachments. It might just be text. From here you can decide what to do with it. Do you want to download the attachment? Add a reply? Forward it to someone else? Or just leave it alone and let it fall to the bottom? All of this can be done from the Google Group interface.
Search is easy with Google. You can search in the above box within this group. Some good example searches might be "October 2," "poster" or "Abraham."
You don't need to register in order to download resources from this database. If all you want is simply free stuff, just start clicking.
If you would like to upload some of your own resources for the Narrative Lectionary, follow the steps below.
Step 1: Click "join this group" and use your Google ID. (NOTE: One annoying trick is that Google Groups will automatically send members an email whenever a new message is posted. To change this setting, click on "My membership" above).
Step 2: Choose a category. Are you uploading a Bible Study or Hymn suggestions? Find your category from the list and click it.
Step 3: Treat the thread like an email. Click "Reply" on the top post and start to fill in your post. Add an attachment if you like.
*What if I don't want to post a resource but but I only want start a discussion? This can be done by clicking "New Topic" on the front page. Then title your discussion like you would an email.
