Yet another link, this one is for the fishing line recyling
containers. http://www.myfwc.com/mrrp/

Click on the "Current Recyclers" tab and you'll find the form for
ordering stickers and bins (or you can have students build the bins).
There are also lists outlining materials you'll need to build bins and
directions for their construction. For the bins built on Prudence, 4"
PVC was used which is much cheaper, easier to find in stores, and
works just as well as 6" it's only the bin is a little smaller, but
still plenty big for most fishing spots.

There's also a page on this website with contact info for people in
various states who are working on this project so you can contact them
and see if she can piggy back onto an existing program. My experience
with people on this project is that they are more than willing to help
out and share, so I wouldn't hesitate to contact them. They also have
a cool "mini-bin" on this website that might be cheaper and easier to
install than the big PVC bins.

There's a link to a press release from RI about eagle scouts building
bins with the DEM: http://www.dem.ri.gov/news/2003/pr/0804032.htm

Another site with some people to contact at the bottom of the page:

If you are concerned about using PVC you can contact Eugenia Marks the
Senoir Director of Policy at Audubon of Rhode Island ema...@asri.org
401-949-5454 ex 3003 Fax: 401-949-5788. She has a different stlye of
bin she's using.

Let me know if you have any questions
Colleen
