They all have 6 channel inputs to accept DVD-A/SACD and have a wide assortment of surround sound features, plenty of audio/video switching and flexible bass management options. Given the choice between the three, I would probably choose the Denon AVR-3803 for its above average amplifier and superb DAC performance. However this unit is a bit more pricey than the Onkyo alternatives that you mentioned.
Audioholics: Fidelity, in audio terms, is faithfulness in audio output reproduction and generally is described in output frequency bandwidth. I am wondering if you meant that your Receiver's dynamic range has changed when you set the selector to 4 ohms and not that your fidelity has suffered.

By default, track output is routed to the Mix track. You can also route the complete track signal to a submix track or Mix track by using the Track Output Assignment menu at the bottom of each track in the Audio Track Mixer. The output signal contains all properties specified for that track, including automation, effects, pan/balance, solo/mute, and fader settings. In the Audio Track Mixer, all submixes are grouped to the right of all audio tracks. You can output a track to any submix, but to prevent feedback loops, Premiere Pro allows a submix to be routed only to a submix to the right of it, or to the Mix track. The output menu lists only the tracks that follow these rules.

In this paper we introduce a fast and efficient linear time and space algorithm to detect and reconstruct uniform Loop subdivision structure, or triangle quadrisection, in irregular triangular meshes. Instead of a naive sequential traversal algorithm, and motivated by the concept of covering surface in Algebraic Topology, we introduce a new algorithm based on global connectivity properties of the covering mesh. We consider two main applications for this algorithm. The first one is to enable interactive modelling systems that support Loop subdivision surfaces, to use popular interchange file formats which do not preserve the subdivision structure, such as VRML, without loss at information. The second application is to improve the compression efficiency of existing lossless connectivity compression schemes, by optimally compressing meshes with Loop subdivision connectivity. Extensions to other popular uniform subdivision schemes such as Catmull-Clark and Doo-Sabin, are relatively straightforward but will be studied elsewhere.
