A man and a woman, who used to be lovers while in college, bump into each other after a gap of two decades. The man is a novelist, settled in Delhi, the lady is a critic settled in the US. They run into each other at a literary festival held in Delhi. They renew their friendship at the convention and then he invites her home.

Their meeting each other, recounting of each others’ life experiences and the snappy dialogue that they share make this book worth reading. As I was reading this novel, I was hoping that someone like Yash Chopra or Basu Chatterjee would make a motion picture based on it.
