"High School Memories" Poem
High school memories of dances 'n' friends.
Football 'n' basketball games of the past.
Filled our hearts with a joy that never ends.
Cherished memories created to forever last.
Homework, essays, tests 'n' teachers.
Study groups "hit" the books late at night.
Prepared for life beyond school bleachers.
Better our chances at a future so bright.
On travels down the horizons of life.
Sometimes we may wonder why
We may wake to cloudy days of strife.
A rainbow of hope not yet in the sky.
Wherever our classmates are
And whatever they may do
I wish they're happy as a shiny star!
Hope all their dreams come true!
